Because of his unique medium, The Junkman has been able to innovate by brining Junk Music together with many other traditional artistic forms. A concerto for junk and full-orchestra, an opera with Norse gods, spoken voice and junk percussion, and dance pieces for choreographer Twyla Tharp are a sample of how The Junkman can bridge the gap between the traditional arts and Junk Music.
An opera for spoken word artists and ten amplified percussionists performing exclusively on over 250 pieces of junk and recycled materials
The Environmental Continuum is a concerto composed for junk and a full orchestra of traditional instruments. The 35 minute piece puts Junk Music in the concert hall.
In Spring 2007, The Junkman teamed up with students from Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester to together to premiere a new piece.
